A special Thank you to Miss Andy, Miss Marcy and the students participating in the lyrical piece
"Those People". The piece depicted the growing issue of the homeless and the need to help.
The piece is being considered to perform at the state capital and the girls held a very successful
food drive to benefit the Wakefield Food Pantry. We are so very proud of our young adults.

The first William C. Moore scholarships were awarded this year at the season end banquet for the
Dance Companies. This was an essay contest for 12 and under and 13 and over. All of the essays were
amazing and can be read in the lobby of the studio. Congrats to Carolyn Morey and Alanna Romano, winners!!
-
The Leia Brown Scholarship was also awarded at the banquet. Leia is a former student who enjoyed her
years at the studio and asked that for her 30th birthday guests make a donation in her name to award
a student at Dance Studio of Wakefield a scholarship to continue their education. Leia was a wonderful
student and her generosity is overwhelming. This years recipients are Katie Lake and Alanna Romano.
