Kudos, Kudos, Kudos!! To all of our performers at this years recitals "By Invitation Only"!!
Everyone did an amazing job and we thank all for such commitment and enthusiasm. We also thank those
who supported our flower drive; it won't be long before we have raised enough to start our scholarship
through the Wakefield Citizens Scholarship Foundation. We are very excited about this venture!

Relay For Life will be held on the track at Wakefield Memorial High School June 15th and 16th.
Many of our students have made the commitment to fundraise and be a part of this special event.
Relay For Life is a national campaign to raise funds and awareness for cancer research.
The students and their chaperones have raised over $2000.00 and will walk the track for the 12 hour
6:00 p.m. 6:00 a.m. with the many other groups who are participating. We thank this special group
of dancers and congratulate them on their commitment.

Bravo to all of our Dance Companies and their fantastic success during the competition season.
The Companies attended American Dance Awards in Bridgewater, Worcester and Franklin, Showstoppers
and Bravo competitions. Among some of the awards were many highest scoring awards; most notable
Katie Lake top scoring soloist Miss Dance for all three competitions and title winner for American
Dance Awards. Sisters Jessica and Courtney won top junior and teen soloist at Showstoppers and Courtney won
3rd runner -up teen title at American Dance Awards in Franklin.

The Senior division groups won high scores in all competitions for their jazz and lyric routines.
Elite division won highest overall winner with their rendition of a production routine "By Invitation Only".
Intermediate division also won many top scoring awards as did the junior division with their jazz, tap and
lyric routines. A very successful season for all and the staff is proud of their dedication and energy!!

Congratulations to our graduating seniors from the many surrounding communities. They are a special
group of girls and we will miss them dearly as they travel to college this fall!

Good Luck to Katie Lake as she travels to Orlando in July to compete for the National Title of
Dancer Of the Year , American Dance Awards.

We will welcome a new edition to our DSW family this October! Miss Andy will be having her
second child and we are all excited for the arrival of the little GIRL!!

Registration for fall classes is ongoing! Come down to our open house on June 20th or call
for information on classes.

We Wish everyone a wonderful and relaxing summer and if we don't see you in class during
